These “Miniature Exotic Spirit Slates” were created especially for the discerning magician and are perfect for walk around performers.
Basic Effect: The performer displays two small (4.75″ by 6″) old-fashioned chalkboard slates which are blank on both sides. He rubber bands the two slates together and places a small piece of chalk in between them. A spectator chooses a card and when the slates are opened, the name of their selection appears as if it had been written by the spirits
· Spectator can open slates to reveal Message.
· Each set comes complete with two wooden slates, the necessary gimmicks and chalk.
· Each set of Spirit Slates is handcrafted from the finest woods and built to last.

I bought a set of the new miniature Exotic Spirit slates ( magnetic ) that Dave has introduced ( slate area approx 75 x 100 mm – frame size brings size to approx 120 x 145 mm ) Similar in appearance to the original smaller slates.
These are absolutely top notch quality slates that are a delight to use. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than your average slates, but truly you get what you pay for. When I buy something good I make it a point to buy another as a back up. Sorry , Dave, but these are so well made that I just dont feel the need, as I am sure I am going to get many years out of this set. This particular size is ideal for me for use in close up and smallish parlour performance.
These slates are an absolute pleasure to own and use. One of my better magical buys, and I get a wee buzz every time I use them.
