A mechanical Marvel, the block does the work for you.
All parts are completely examinable before and after the illusion.

Hi Dave,
Received your improved Enchanted Ring from Howard at The Magic Warehouse
yesterday … beautiful! So much better than other versions of the illusion …
Anverdi’s original, Terri Rogers’ Blockbuster that doesn’t allow examination of
the ribbon, or the Excalibur Block & Sword that requires a sword switch.Your reinvention of a classic is impeccable and has set a new standard … no doubt the collectible version of choice in the years to come. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Best wishes,
Terry

The Enchanted Ring has been a popular plot in magic since Anverdi since created it decades ago. There have been some great ones and some painfully poor ones. Dave Powell’s new approach falls in the “great” category. Dave has redesigned the gimmick and made it virtually fool proof. The props can be examined before and after the effect and the actual penetration works smooth as silk. If you’re a fan of the plot, you will be very happy with this purchase. If it’s new to you, you’ll be even more amazed! Not to mention, this is a VERY well made piece of apparatus, high quality parts and finely crafted. Great for the performer or collector.

Anverdi Outdone!
There have been many versions of Anverdi’s Enchanted Ring and most of them are pretty neat. However, this new one by Dave Powell is probably the best one available.
The moment the rings passes through the needle is particularly amazing as it is possible to do it as you place the block onto the spectators outstretched hand, with no covers or motion. It does look amazing for sure! Nothing is added or taken away and everything can be examined.
This is certainly one not to be missed for the close-up performer!

I have the original Enchanted Ring and have loved using it over many years. Alas, I have misplaced the ring and the pin. I was therefore thrilled to see that Dave Powell had an improved version available. It took me a while to get used to the new one, as the "touch" I used on the original turned out to be too gruff for Dave’s version. My original required a "smack" onto the table to set it, which I would cover by saying how sturdy the block was. A gentler touch is needed with the improved version (if I had paid closer attention to the printed instructions I might have known that).
Now that I have the hang of the improved version, I will definitely use it. My routine has the spectator holding everything when the magic happens. Many thanks to Dave for his patience as I struggled through my initial frustrations, quickly turning to joy when everything fell into place. Highly recommended!
